ABOUT INVESTING Due to the inherent risk associated with acquiring and owning contaminated property, EFG Projects are rarely able to be leveraged with traditional debt until remediation is complete and a regulating authority has certified that no further action is required – sometimes years into redevelopment. As a result, EFG projects are initially 100% equity financed and capitalized on a project-by-project basis.
